When the Blip Doesn't Matter

When the Blip Doesn't Matter

December 29, 20242 min read

Here is a wonderful picture from my yard here in the Midwest… A warm spring day in April. Wait, the picture doesn’t match, eh? Can you say what the ‘BLIP”

My years in business have been ups and down. When I started, I didn't know how to get leads and sales. When I started, I thought everyone was supposed to be my customer. When I started, I thought if I build it, they will come...

And I had energy, enthusiasm, and a desire to effectively offer products and knowledge to help others. I knew what I was called to do.

But I got tired and there was a period that I walked away.

I made a successful comeback. Now I mentor others in their journey. Helping them find their voice and match their message to their market.

Once again reconnected to what I know what I am called to do.

When I decided to re-launch, I had to ask myself... Why did I walk away before and what was different this time?

Before... I hadn’t made the decision… And you may have to ask yourself this question too. Ask yourself this question and decide. Before the 'blips' happen.

Of course, being in business you may have already figured out that there will be blips.

Customers come and go - blip

Team Members come and go - blip

Sales up and down - blip

Strategy needs to pivot - blip

Technology changes - blip

Uncertainty with skills - blip

Life stuff - blip

Pandemic - blip

_________ Fill in ‘YOUR blip'

Here is what you have to DECIDE. Just like I couldn’t ‘quit’ the day and go back to bed when I woke up to see the snow embracing my spring day with a white sweater.

If you KNOW you are not going to quit... the blips don't matter.

Sit with that for minute.

Until next time...

Keep shining your light the world needs you.
